Ruby has started saying a lot of new words recently and last night while I played Pat a Cake with her she started saying ,"roll, roll" and doing the arm motions when I got to the roll em up part. I sang Itsy Bitsy Spider with her and she did the arm motions for the rain and the sun.I almost couldn't finish singing it for her because I started tearing up.
Here is a list of words she can say:
Daddy
Hi
Bye Bye, which usually sounds like Bubye
Hi,Daddy
Baby
See
See it
Op for stop
Happy
Bobble for Bottle
I'm so excited about her speech, and she speaks very clearly, which is a good sign to me that she hears well.I just cherish every accomplishment she makes because I know they don't come easily for her.

I love those moments where the little things are the ones that make you feel so happy. My husband and I had that moment with Colin today and we were both tearing up so much over it!

Great job Ruby! It is so exciting when our LOs have an accomplishment, we all know how hard they have to work. Definitely worth tearing up over.

YAY, Ruby!! That's fantastic! She's well on her way to even more amazing accomplishments!!!
I can just feel the love you have for Ruby in this post. Just wait Cheryl until she tells you that she loves you. I can't even begin to tell you what this does to my heart when Gabe says these words.
You're right. This is HARD work for our children. Speech is so important, isn't it, and I believe that good speech will help our children walk through doors that would otherwise be closed to them.
I Bet you were tearing up. wow, she's doing awesome! She has quite the word list. Go Ruby Go! Lots of thanks are owed to her wonderful mama that gives her so much encouragement and support.
