I bought myself Road Map to Holland for Christmas:)
Wow!What an emotional read! I am just amazed at how similar all of our feelings are about our children with Ds.I have been reading it slowly over the past week.I usually read a book very quickly but I had to digest this one slowly because it was so emotional.I'm glad Jennifer Graf Groneberg wrote this book,it's just wonderful!

It is one of my Fav books. Jennifer is a wonderful writer. I too was in amazement how her thoughts and feelings were so much the same as my own.
I just got this book and haven't started yet. I am anxious to read it.
A friend sent this book to me within days after Finn was born, and I was reading it when he was in the NICU. It was like a lifeline for me, and I read it slowly, as you say you are. I didn't want it to end. I had my book club read it a couple months ago and I hosted the discussion. It was an interesting discussion, being that I was the only one there personally touched by Ds. But all the women got something positive out of reading the book.
Jennifer Graf Groneberg keeps a blog too - she's a very accessible author! Her blog is called Pinwheels; I have a link to it in my blog list on my blog :)
